One of two training/repair apps we prototyped. One was VR and the other was AR. Using LiDAR for scanning home environments we would then build out appliances that could be replaced with specific models. The UI needed to hold a lot of information but also be quick minimize and still show what was necessary for a detailed repair guide, so a lot of setting options where based on customization for the various customer situations that could come up.

At the Labs we had a lot of autonomy and freedom when it came to presenting new ideas before they went on to become prototypes. Lowe's Metro was one of few big ideas I had for the company based on some tech we were developing at the time, so this allowed me to integrate one project into another. I did some deep research for my numbers on this presentation and then created some illustrations to tie it all up.

Solution
While working on a large interactive project at the Labs, I saw a way to get Lowe's into the high-traffic shopping areas of inner cities with a low overhead, small staff, and zero space needed for product. This is Lowe's Metro.

With around 14.4 million housing units in major U.S. metro areas, including a dense New York City population, there's a significant demand for ongoing home maintenance and repairs, whether owned or rented.
